Gwen Stefani has been a fashion and music icon for artistic adventurers everywhere. During an exciting night at Atlanta night club Primal, L.A.M.B. outfits were strutted that personified this alternative rock member of royalty.

Dawn Harrell, Atlanta fashion stylist and representative of the Controversy boutique on Auburn Avenue, selected clothes for this fashion show that illuminated Gwen’s style and were a respectfully cousin to Ms. Stefani’s LAMB collection. From blending monochromatic and bright colors into funk, futuristic outfits to draping garments and sassy, sexy swimwear, Dawn hit the mark when styling for this show.

As a faithful supporting member, the accessories were everything from Bollywood-like bangles and bulky, multi-textured necklaces to “Pirates of the Caribbean” type tall boots and multi-zipper-adorned ankle boots. The accessories showed up and showed out.

Gwen isn’t known for being make-up and hair bashful. Members of the William David salon came with that punk, yet feminine look Ms. Stefani has worn so well through her career. Aki Hill, Artistic Director of William David salon, and his team received instructions to do rock star make-up and hair. “This is a stage, a show. It [make-up] needs to be like Wow.” Aki and his team delivered the Wow factor by creating bold eyes with florescent and pastel colors, cheeks that popped with an embellishment of blush, glossy or fire red lips – all crowned by voluptuous, skyscraper hair.
